Privacy Policy

Your Company LLC (“we”) operates Skinalyze. This policy explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

• Account data: email address and, if you use Google sign-in, your name.
• Quiz answers: skin type, goals, habits and budget you choose to share.
• Selfie photos you upload, and the cosmetic skin report generated from them.
• Payment data: processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• Usage & advertising data: pages visited, device/browser info, and cookies/pixels from Meta, Google and PostHog to measure ads and improve the Service.

How we use your photo

Your photo is sent securely to our AI provider (OpenAI) only to generate your report, under terms that do not allow it to be used for training. We do not create or store facial geometry, face templates or any biometric identifier. The coloured zone map is drawn in your browser and the facial landmarks used for it never leave your device. We do not use your photo to identify you. We never sell your photos.

Retention

Photos from users without an active subscription are deleted automatically after 30 days. Subscribers' photos are kept so you can track progress, until you delete them or your account (each scan has a delete button; Account → Delete account removes everything).

Sharing

We share data only with service providers that run the Service: hosting, OpenAI (analysis), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Google (sign-in, analytics, ads), Meta (ads measurement) and PostHog (product analytics). For ad measurement we send hashed email addresses, never photos or skin data.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data at any time by emailing info@merivo.org or using the delete options in your account. California residents may opt out of “sharing” for cross-context advertising by emailing us with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share”. EU/UK residents have rights under the GDPR, including the right to withdraw consent and to complain to a supervisory authority.

Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18.
